Background
The presence of the Gaharu Insan Nusantara Foundation is our goal to serve with the motivation to be a blessing because, indeed, God the Almighty has blessed all of our lives. And, for that, we underlie all activities in the programs at the Gaharu Insan Nusantara Foundation with the tagline "Blessed and Becoming a Blessing".
The name Gaharu is an acronym for the New Generation of Hope, and Insan Nusantara are Indonesian people who are in the archipelago region of our beloved country, which overall means that this foundation is preparing a generation that has new hope as well as good, noble, character, and superior human resources in the archipelago.
The Gaharu Insan Nusantara Foundation was established with the Deed of Establishment No. 01 on July 26, 2021 by Notary Nikmah Nasution, SH and is domiciled at Villa Biru, Jalan E. Djumena, Kp. Munjul, Sukaresmi Village, Kec. Megamendung, Bogor Regency, West Java Province. The Foundation's activities are centered on the shelter house in Vila Bilabong Blok E2/9, Cimanggis Village, Bogor Regency.
Starting from the Matahari PAUD Education activities and the Integrated Service Post (Posyandu) activities in Parakan Salak Village, since July 2, 2012, under the ministry program of the Gospel Preaching Commission, GKI Pondok Indah, we were inspired to develop activities for the Parakan Salak-GKIPI congregation, and more to reach the wider community in the vicinity. The calling of the Gaharu Insan Nusantara Foundation since its establishment has continued to develop wider activities to reach the archipelago, especially remote and marginal areas, to take part in advancing human resources in the fields of education, community empowerment, and faith building.
The existence of the Shelter House in Billabong, Bogor, apart from being a center for the activities of the Gaharu Insan Nusantara Foundation, is also intended as a place for mental and spiritual recovery and faith and spiritual development, as well as a Creative Economy training center or workshop that prepares self-reliance for members of the congregation and the wider community.
Objectives or Goals
